Awesome. You and Betsy are truly amazingly talented people. Most people strugle with one form of art…you two seem to master everything you pick up. I could picture myself sitting by a tranquil stream in the woods 200 years ago listening to the melodic tones….awesome indeed.

We think it is awesome that you paint small areas at a time to creat your murals of artistic expression. Your “American Flag” mural is featured in our reading book (Scott Foresman). It was used to help us understand the concept of artistic freedom and why freedom is important. It is also unique to see a person’s work from Olean in our reader. Been hearing from friends about those Five Finger shoes. Makes ya think. It may look funny, but then again… sometime back I was looking up MDB shoes. And then something happened, Nike’s new style of sports shoes do resemble that function… got one and it does feel like walking on air. Okay, back to the Five Fingers, I heard some say avoid doing over 1/2 mile on your first time out. I guess it takes some adapting and getting used to. Word has it, it force your toes to be spread open.

So since you like Vibrams so much, I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you should eventually give five fingers Classics a shot. The reasons being:

- you don’t have the extra 2mm EVA midsole you get with the KSO, thus you get more ground feel

- you get the open-topped feel

In combination, these two factors take the VFF experience to the next level as compared to the KSO — so just park that thought in the back of your mind
